There is something for every game enthusiat in the Halloween Edition of Games & LAN from October 29 to 31! 60 LAN seats in the Grand Garage offer a great atmosphere for computer gaming and for all those who prefer to play analogue, you can either have your pick from our large selection of board games, or social deduction games like Werewolf or Secret Hitler, or you can also chose to be the heroine/hero in a Pen & Paper One-Shot.

lAn Area
To participate in the LAN you need to register and pay a small fee. For the 15 Euro registration fee you will get two non-alcoholic drinks and snacks for free during the LAN.
You have to bring your own setup, we provide you with two sockets and good internet. Please remember to update your game collection at home ;-)

pen & paper
For all those who have always wanted to try a pen & paper role-playing game, the Games & LAN is the perfect chance to do so! One-shots are the perfect opportunity to take part in a small adventure as one of the heroines or heros. The players are guided by a game master, but the course of the adventure will be decided by the players.
On Staturday, there will be several role playing rounds taking place in different settings. Dungeon and Dragons (Fantasy), Shadow Run (Cyberpunk), Blades in the Dark (Victorian London/Gothic), the choice is up to the player.

boardgames Area
In the board game area you will find a large selection of games to borrow. If you wish, you can also bring your own games.
The board games area is opened Friday, October 29 from 19:00 to 02:00 and Saturday, October 30 from 10:00 to 02:00.
Admission is free of charge, children under 16 may only come if accompanied by an adult.

Have you ever wondered how a different reality would feel like? Then you are at the right place! If you ever wanted to cut stuff in a rythm (Beat Saber), shoot things in bullettime (SUPERHOT) or disarm bombs with friends (Keep talking and nobody explodes), everything is possible with a VR-Set! For that we provide you with a HTC Vive and a Oculus Rift.

Due to the current situation of Corona infections and the differences in incidences between the groups of vaccinated and unvaccinated persons, participation in this event is only possible for vaccinated persons. After verification of the vaccination status, no FFP2 mask is required. Until then please wear a FFP2 mask,

Getting there
By public transport
The Tabakfabrik can be reached by bus with lines 12, 25 or 27. The closest station is Lederergasse.
By car
In Ludlgasse near the Tabakfabrik there is a short-term parking zone free of charge. Inside the Tabakfabrik and in surrounding parking garages there are paid parking spots. Arrival by public transport, on foot or by bicycle is recommended.

Organizing a tournament is hard work, so we were too lazy to didn’t find the time to.
But if you have a game in mind and want to organize a tournament yourself, feel free to do
so. I am sure we will be able to pistol whip motivate one of our helpers to help you,
achieving your tournament.
We do have a room for everyone who feels the need to sleep. We advice bringing whatever you need to be able to spend a night on the floor. We will even provide a shower for you.
You fetch a soda for a reasonable price from our refrigerators, we will order pizza any time it is needed, which you have to pay for. If you particapte in the LAN, you will also have some snacks for free.

Weird question for a gaming night, but I’ll answer it. We do not offer it, but if you bring the official permits, your own equipment and a permit of the buildings owner, find a suitable location to do so and do it on your own liability, there is nothing we can do to stop you even though we advice against it.
